Park City Birthday Bash & Memorial Day

We went to Park City with my family during the weekend of mine and Spencer's birthdays.  The only thing I wanted to really do was the roller coaster. I love the coaster, it is so much fun.  I just laugh my head off the whole way down :)

We went on a lot of walks to the park.  People would ask if these two were twins ;)

Races on the slides, over and over and over again.
My name is Amber and I am really scared of bears.
Main Street in Park City
Carousel rides for the little ones.

Kaiden barely made the height requirement and he LOVED it!!

Memorial Day: It was a nice hot day so we started out by going to 7 Peaks in the morning and then our traditional hike to Stewart Falls. We started with Grayson in the carrier for the hike and he didn't like it at all.  It lasted only a few minutes and then he was on daddy's shoulders the rest of the time. Kaiden walked by himself the entire time and did great.  No complaining until the very end when he was getting tired.
Kaiden wanted to put his own sunscreen on.

This is the way most of the hike ended up.  I love this picture with Grayson dancing on Spencer's shoulders.

At the falls, covered in dirt already but it was worth it.

May 2014

I'm only a little bit behind again but time for catch up because I really am going to print all these someday..... So here we are in May 2014.  May is seriously the best month of the year :)
Kaiden learned how to ride his bike without training wheels! He did so good and all the practice on his balance bike really helped.  The bike is a little big for him so we had to wait until he could reach the pedals.  And all he had to do was learn how the pedals worked and how to stop without falling off.  But the first time we took him he just took off!

Up the canyon at our favorite park, Big Springs! And yes, Kaiden has black ash all over his face.

Swim lessons! Kaiden was old enough this year to be on his own and he was very apprehensive about it.  He doesn't like floating on his back so it took him some time to warm up to it but by the end he was starting to feel more comfortable with it.  Grayson did the mommy and me swim lessons for the first time and he loved it.  The only thing we didn't love is that the pool wasn't all the way heated up the first day and it was freezing.  I'm a baby when it comes to cold water.
Kaiden loved playing baseball with daddy and he refused to use the T anymore, he wanted us to pitch to him.

Bike ride up Provo Canyon.

Spencer and I were able to go on a bike ride together up Big Springs and we came across a moose and it's baby.  It scared me so bad, I of course thought it was a bear and was ready to get back on my bike a beeline it back down the mountain, but the moose just slowly walked away.
Thanksgiving Point Farm fun.
Kaiden loved the pony rides.
We went to the dinosaur museum too.  Apparently I'm a pretty old thing.
Mother's Day! I was sick and throwing up unfortunately but I'm so lucky to be a mom to these two crazy boys.
More Thanksgiving Point-Museum of Natural Curiosity.  This museum was so amazing, our kids could spend hours and hours playing there, it was really fun.
